The following bibliography contains basic training resources for those
who engage in nonviolent action training. We are adding to our material
in many languages as quickly as we can. However, at this time most
of our resources are in English.

This bibliography DOES NOT include resources for trainers that can
be easily found elsewhere such as case studies, nonviolence or political
theory, decision-making, or nonviolence as a "way of life".
We welcome suggestions to expand the bibliography below. With your
help, it could include many more materials from around the world and
its major languages. Please mail or e-mail your suggestions to the
address below. Updated versions will appear in the forthcoming International
Directory for Nonviolent Action Trainers, and then posted as a permanent
retrievable database on the Internet. Special thanks to April Carter
and Michael Randle for their bibliographies as common predecessors
to this bibliography, dating from the 1970s. Publications with no contact
information are available from Nonviolence International (NI) and the
International Fellowship of Reconciliation (IFOR) libraries. "Out
