Holy Land Trust is a Palestinian organization established in 1998 in Bethlehem by Sami Awad, the nephew of Nonviolence International's founder Mubarak Awad. We seek to practice and live a life motivated by unconditional love and not by fear. As challenging and hopeless as the situation may seem, we believe in the possibility of peace and justice for all peoples, and to relate to each other with empathy, compassion, trust and respect. A Season to Give, A Season to Stand Together
Holy Land Trust's Winter Resilience Campaign
For more than twenty years, Holy Land Trust has worked to strengthen Palestinian communities through nonviolence, empowerment, trauma healing, and advocacy. We believe that even in the hardest times, compassion can transform trauma into hope, dignity, and resilience.
Since October 7, families across the West Bank and Gaza have faced unprecedented hardship. With the collapse of tourism and labor income, many households struggle to afford food, medicine, heating materials, and basic necessities.
In communities such as Umm Al-Kheir in South Hebron Hills, life has become even more difficult — limited water access, lack of electricity, harsh winter temperatures, and threats linked to settler violence make survival a daily challenge.
This winter, the needs are urgent. And together, we can respond with compassion, solidarity, and care.

What Your Support Provides This Winter
Firewood for Heating — $500 per ton
35 tons are needed to help families survive the cold. For many villages, firewood is the only source of heat.
Water Tanks — $500 each
20 tanks are needed to ensure every household in Umm Al-Kheir receives clean, safe, reliable access to water.
Food Coupons — $100 per family
Support households struggling with food insecurity, especially during this season. Each coupon helps a family meet basic nutritional needs.
