The Sahrawi Solidarity Summit, now in its second edition, brings together activists, researchers, journalists, parliamentarians, and civil society representatives from around the world to engage directly with the Sahrawi community: a people who have lived in exile for over fifty years, in one of the longest unresolved colonial occupations on the UN's agenda.
The program includes panel discussions, keynote presentations, workshops, and cultural activities, with participants hosted by Sahrawi families in the camps. The Summit is co-organized by Solidarity Rising, Nonviolence International, the International Peace Research Association, and local Sahrawi activists and partners.
